  • Learn how to play your favorite songs, and how to write your own songs!
  • Learn how to improvise your own guitar solos!

Hi! My name is Mike Kohary and I want to welcome you to Kohary Guitar Instruction! The guitar is one of the most popular instruments in America, and for good reason – it’s so much fun to play! Whether you’re a beginner starting from scratch, an experienced player wanting to build a broader foundation of skills, or just want to learn to play your favorite songs, with 35 years experience playing and teaching guitar, I’ll design a course of study that’s just right for you or your child.

I have been teaching online since March 2020, and have extensive experience with Zoom and making music lessons work online.  Contact me here to inquire about online lessons. I offer a free 15-minute introduction for prospective students if you’d like a face-to-face before deciding on lessons.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for your interest!

Sincerely,

Mike Kohary
